Responsibility for the unit standards referred to above, which were registered between August and November 1998, June 1999 and August 2000 have been transferred from the Design and Construction Consultants Industry Training Organisation to InfraTrain New Zealand Ltd following the merger of Design and Construction Consultants Industry Training Organisation and the New Zealand Contracting Industry Training Organisation under the new name of InfraTrain New Zealand Ltd.
The unit standards have been rolled over to maintain their currency until they are reviewed. All the unit standards listed above have had their period of registration extended until December 2005.
Most of the unit standards, as shown in bold in the above table, had the Trade Marks Act 1953 replaced with the Trade Marks Act 2002, and correction to the Buildings Act 1991 to the Building Act 1991.

Outline of main changes
As part of the rollover and revision the name of the standard setting body and the accreditation and moderation options have been updated. The unit standards have been published as new versions.
Accreditation and Moderation Action Plans Ref: 0101 and 0126
The InfraTrain Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan [Ref: 0101] has been amended to include the Design unit standards as a result of the change in SSB responsibility.
