Responsibility for the unit standards referred to above, which were registered in January and July 1997, July 1999, July 2002, and March 2003 has been transferred from the Design and Construction Consultants Industry Training Organisation to InfraTrain New Zealand Ltd following the merger of Design and Construction Consultants Industry Training Organisation and the New Zealand Contracting Industry Training Organisation under the new name of InfraTrain New Zealand Ltd.

 

The review of the unit standards, which have been rolled over is planned to take place during 2005.

Outline of main changes

 

The unit standards have been amended to show the new ITO responsibility and have been published as new versions.  Unit standards that expired in or before December 2003 have been rolled over until December 2006.

 

Changes resulting from revision

·        Revision changes for unit standards identified in bold type on page one are in response to changes to codes and legislation.

·        Change of title to unit standard 17224 as indicated in the table below.

 

Other changes

·        Glossary changed to Definitions to some special notes for consistency.

·        Moderation option updated.

·        Some accreditation options updated as a result of change in SSB responsibility.

 

Accreditation and Moderation Action Plans Ref: 0101 and 0126

 

The unit standards have been transferred from AMAP 0126 to AMAP 0101, and AMAP 0126 has now been withdrawn from the National Qualifications Framework.
