Reason for the revision
This revision was undertaken in order to correct the level of the unit standards. At the last review in June 2003, these unit standards were incorrectly registered at level 4. The incorrect level was picked up when it was noted that the prerequisites for unit standard 19595 (currently registered at level 4), were at level 5.
The Beauty Practitioners Training Council has confirmed that these unit standards should be registered at level 5.
Main changes resulting from the revision
· Increase in level, from 4 to 5, of unit standards 19591, 19595 and 19596.
