Rollover and Revision of Graphic Design unit standards 2097 and 2098

InfraTrain New Zealand has revised the unit standards listed above, which were registered in November 1998, and has decided that they should have their period of registration extended.

 

The reason for the rollover is to maintain the currency of the unit standards until they have been reviewed.

 

The review of these unit standards is planned to take place during 2006.

Reason for the revision

 

The unit standards have been revised as a result of feedback from assessors during the moderation process.  Assessors have provided feedback that level of skills and knowledge required of unit standard 2098 reflects the level 6 level descriptors.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

·        Unit standard 2098 increased from level 5 to level 6

·        Amendments made to wording of special notes, range statements, elements and performance criteria to improve clarity.
