The Public Sector Training Organisation has decided that the unit standard listed above that was registered in June 2000 should have the period of registration extended.
The reason for the rollover is that the unit standard has not been used sufficiently to warrant a review at this stage.

Summary of revision and consultation process
The unit standard has had little use to date, however, it is included in the new Level 5 National Certificate in Public Sector Services (Field/Community Advisors) [Ref: 1106].
Consultation was undertaken in conjunction with that for the new qualification and minor amendments were suggested for clarity and to ensure the standard was fit for purpose.
Main changes resulting from the revision
The revision process resulted in the following changes to the unit standard, which is consistent with the recent review of other unit standards in the Public Sector Core Skills domain.
· Special note 3 and range for performance criteria 2.1 were updated by deleting reference to Principles, Conventions, and Practice, and including Guidance on Public Service values and standards.
· Special note 6 was deleted.
· Special note 7 was updated.
· Requirements for element 2 heading and its performance criteria were clarified.
