Summary of review and consultation process

The review of these unit standards was undertaken as part of a full review of the PAITC reel-fed training programmes.  A cross section of companies involved in offset, letterpress, flexographic, and gravure production were involved and included companies involved in training and those not involved in training.

Generally, the unit standards were found to be relevant and appropriate to industry needs, however the outcomes have been clarified as required.

Main changes resulting from the review

·        Unit standards 16510 and 16511 have been replaced by new unit standard 20667.
