The reason for the rollover is that the unit standards have not been used sufficiently to warrant a review at this stage. The moderation option on unit standards in bold has been amended in accordance with the associated change to AMAP 0226. Unit standards 9821 and 9822 are at levels 4 and 5 and will continue to be on AMAP 0151.
The review of these unit standards is planned to take place during 2008.
The unit standards have also been revised to update the moderation option.

Summary of review and consultation process
Thirty unit standards in the domain Understanding Religion passed their planned expiry date in December 2002. Stakeholders were notified of the need for a review and were asked which unit standards needed changes. Feedback on the unit standards was given and decisions were made on which unit standards would be reviewed and which would be rolled over. Twenty-three were selected for review and the remaining seven that had not been widely used were rolled over.
A working panel, consisting of representatives from schools and the National Moderator, reviewed the twenty-three unit standards. The review was conducted during a two-day meeting. Drafts were circulated and consultation was carried out to refine the changes to be made to the unit standards.
