Revision of Window Cleaning qualification

The Building Service Contractors Industry Training Organisation has revised the qualification listed above that was registered in October 1996.

The review of this qualification is planned to take place in 2009

 

Reason for the revision

 

The reason for the revision is that unit standard 7442 has changed from 4 credits to 6 credits.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

Version 4 was issued in order to update changes to the content of unit standard 7442.

 

Changes to structure and content

·               Unit standard 7442 has increased from 4 to 6 credits

·               Compulsory credits have increased from 36 to 38 credits

·               Total credits have increased from 40 to 42 credits.

 

Transition

 

There are no transition consequences for people partway through version 3.  However, version 2 allowed for an exemption for people holding credit for unit standard 1562.  The transition period for that exemption expires in 2006 and the last date for award of both version 1 and version 2 is 31 December 2006.
