Competenz has decided that the unit standards listed above, which were registered in May 1995, April 1996, August 1996, and January 1997, should have their period of registration extended.

The review of these unit standards is planned to take place during 2006.

Date new versions published                        September 2004

New comments by date                        December 2005

Expiry date of new versions of the unit standards                        December 2006

The reason for the rollover is that the unit standards have not been used sufficiently to warrant a review at this stage.

The opportunity was taken to bring the standards up to date with recent changes in legislation, codes of practice, and nomenclature.

Industry consultation is taking place to determine if usage of the unit standards can be increased, and this will contribute to the review of these unit standards in 2006.

The following unit standard titles have been changed to align terminology with similar unit standards.
