Reason for the revision

 

The revision is to correct an error in Element 2 and its performance criterion.  The vehicle recovery driver must hold a D endorsement if towing a vehicle which is carrying dangerous goods.  Other formal requirements apply to the vehicle being towed, not to the driver.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

·               element 2 has been deleted

·               performance criterion 2.1 has been corrected, and renumbered as performance criterion 1.5

·               references to Land Transport Safety Authority have been changed to Land Transport New Zealand.
