Revision of Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying qualifications
National Certificate in Drainlaying [Ref: 0077]
National Certificate in Gasfitting [Ref: 0201]
National Certificate in Plumbing [Ref: 0202]
The Master Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers NZ Inc. Industry Training Organisation has revised the qualifications listed above that were registered in July 1995 and September 1996.
Date new versions published April 2005
The review of these qualifications is planned to take place in 2005
Reason for the revision
New versions of the qualifications were issued in order to make changes to the purpose statements, as the requirements for registration with the Plumbing, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (PGDB) were incorrectly stated.
The National Certificate in Plumbing and the National Certificate in Gasfitting also required a change to their requirements, as unit standards 2141 and 2117 are not required by industry.
