Revision of Horticulture qualification

 

National Certificate in Horticulture (Level 4) with optional strands in Amenity Horticulture, Fruit Production, Landscape, Nursery Production, Organic Horticulture, and Viticulture [Ref: 1014]

 

The New Zealand Horticulture Industry Training Organisation has revised the above qualification that was registered in March 2005.

 

Date new version published                        December 2005

 

The review of this qualification is planned to take place in 2007.

 

Reason for the revision

 

The qualification was versioned in order to clarify the Horticulture Elective requirement for people working towards the qualification with a strand.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

The requirements for people who choose to complete the qualification with a strand have been set out more clearly, to show all of the domains available for meeting the Horticulture Elective requirements.  The qualification has been issued as version 4.  There are no transition implications as a result of this correction to the qualification.
