Summary of revision and consultation process

 

As a consequence of the review of the National Certificate in Fire and Rescue Services (Airport) (Level 3) [Ref: 0535] qualification in February 2005, a request from the Airport Industry Expert Panel was made to remove the prerequisite requirement of unit standard 3267 from this unit standard.

 

All industry participants in the Airport qualification review were consulted for agreement to revise unit standard 3324 to remove the prerequisite.

·        The prerequisite has been removed from the unit standard.

·        Entry to be open.

Impact on existing qualifications

 

The following Fire and Rescue Services Industry Training Organisation qualifications are not materially affected by the changes.  The prerequisite diagrams will be updated when they are next reviewed.
