Roll over and Revision of Educational Administration unit standards

The NZQA National Qualification Services (NQS) had consulted in 2003 on its decision to exit the unit standards listed above, which were registered in March 1996, March 1997, July 1997, and August 1997 on the basis of usage.  However, at the time the application for deregistration was made, a significant newly identified need for the standards emerged, and the decision was therefore made to extend their period of registration.

 

The reason for the rollover is that the unit standards have not been used sufficiently to warrant a review at this stage.

 

The review of these unit standards is planned to take place during 2007.

Reason for the revision

 

The rollover was used as an opportunity to revise these unit standards to update legislation, publications, organisations and the moderation option, and to correct typographical and grammatical errors.

·        Typographical and grammatical errors were corrected.
