Revision of Travel unit standards 18215, 18218, and 18219

The Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation has revised the unit standards listed above, which were registered in April 2001.

 

The review of these unit standards is planned to take place during 2006.

Reason for the revision

 

The unit standards have been revised to reflect minor changes in industry practices and to address a problem of over-assessment in unit standard 18219.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

·          Unit standard 18215 - the range for performance criteria 1.1 and 1.3 have been amended, performance criterion 2.5 has been added and performance criterion 3.3 has been replaced.

·          Unit standard 18218 - performance criterion 1.5 has been deleted, the range for performance criterion 2.4 has been removed, the range for element 4 has been moved to performance criterion 4.1 and a new range has been added to performance criterion 4.2.

·          Unit standard 18219 - the ranges for performance criterion 1.1 and for element 2 have been amended.
