Reason for the revision

 

On 8 March 2004 an advisory group meeting was held to develop new unit standards in customer service for the hospitality industry.  As part of this process, existing unit standard 14462 was revised to determine its fitness for purpose.  This resulted in changes being made to the unit standard to bring it into line with the intent of the two new unit standards that were developed.
