Revision of Gas Network Operationsqualifications
National Certificate in Gas Network Operations (Operations and Maintenance) (Level 3) [Ref: 0885]
The NZ Extractive Industries Training Organisation has revised the above qualification that was registered in June 2003.
The review of this qualification is planned to take place in 2007 (unchanged)
Reason for the revision
Version 5 of this qualification was issued to correct the elective rule and the minimum credit totals. The elective rule was incorrectly stated as 40 credits; the elective credits decreased from 40 to 25 in version 3 (June 2004). The minimum compulsory credits were incorrectly listed in the credit table as 89 and the minimum elective credits as 40. These totals are now correctly stated as 104 and 25 respectively.
Transition
The ITO does not expect any candidate to be affected by these corrections.
People working toward version 2, 3 or 4 of this qualification may either complete the requirements for that version or transfer existing credits to version 5.
