Revision of Whakairo qualifications
National Diploma in Whakairo (Level 6) [Ref: 0746]
Māori Qualifications Services has revised the qualifications listed above, which were registered in April 2000, and extended the planned review date.
The reason for the change to the planned review dateis that the qualifications have not been used sufficiently to warrant a review at this stage, and the Whakaruruhau Whakairo agreed that the qualifications be reviewed along with the unit standards in 2006.

New planned review date December 2006
· The qualifications have been reformatted in the current template.
· Minor amendments have been made to the purpose statements of both qualifications.
· The prerequisite diagrams have been updated.
