The Ministry of Education has translated into Māori the reviewed level 1 achievement standards in the domains listed above, which were registered in November 2003. The English and Māori versions will appear as two separate documents, and can be viewed on the NCEA website: http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/ncea.
The standards will be available on the website by the end of March and are currently available in hard copy from Customer Resources.
A Māori translation of this report is available below.

Review summaries outlining the changes made to the registered standards (version 2) are published on the NQF website: http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/framework/updates.
Please note that there may not always be a complete match between the changes made to the English versions and those made to the Māori translations. In some instances changes were made to the English versions (eg titles) that were already encapsulated in the original translations, and in others changes were made to the translations for clarification where no changes were required of the English.
The following standards have not yet been translated, as they have recently been reviewed again (ie are now up to version 3). The translations on the website are of version 1 of these standards.
Assessors may use either the updated versions (in English) or the available translations.

The translations were undertaken by contractors to the Ministry of Education, checked by subject specialists and Ministry of Education staff, and then quality assured by the Framework Registration business unit.
