The Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO) has decided that the unit standards listed above, which were registered in August 2000, should have their period of registration extended.  The unit standards in bold have also been revised.

The reason for the rollover is to maintain the currency of the unit standards until they have been reviewed.  This rollover prompted a revision of some of the unit standards in order to update references and make some minor editorial amendments.  No substantive changes resulted from the revision.

The review of these unit standards is planned to take place during 2005-6.

Reason for the revision

The planned rollover of the unit standards in these domains provided an opportunity for some minor revisions to take place.  There were no changes made to classifications, titles, levels, credits, or other substantive matters.  Therefore, no impact on existing qualifications, accreditations, or the AMAP resulted from the revision.  A full review of these unit standards, with consultation of stakeholders, is planned for 2005-6.

Main changes resulting from the revision

·        to correct unit standards titles in entry information and special notes

·        to correct titles of Australian and New Zealand standards in special notes

·        to make minor editorial amendments

·        to correct formatting errors.
