The NZ Extractive Industries Training Organisation has revised the qualifications listed above that were registered in June 2003.
Date new versions published May 2005
The review of these qualifications is planned to take place in 2007.
Reason for the revision
These qualifications required maintenance following InfraTrain New Zealand Limited's review of unit standards in the Temporary Traffic Control domain. Changes that InfraTrain made to the unit standards impacted on the above EXITO qualifications. This maintenance process presented EXITO with the opportunity to revise the qualifications to ensure their continued fitness for purpose.
Main changes resulting from the revision
National Certificate in Gas Industry (Gas Distribution) (Level 2) [Ref: 1020]
Changes to structure and content
· Unit standard 5627 replaced with 20877 and 20878 in the compulsory list.
· Total credits required decreased from 45 to 44.
· Temporary Traffic Control domain name updated to Temporary Traffic Management.
People currently working towards version 1 or 2 of this qualification may either complete the requirements for that version or transfer existing credits to version 3.
For the purposes of this qualification people who have gained credit for the replaced standards are exempt from the requirement to gain credit for the replacement standards.
