Review of Security Staff Services unit standards

 

This review report was first published in May 2005 and republished in February 2007.

Following a request in December 2006 from the Electrotechnology Industry Training Organisation, the expiry date for unit standards categorised C as a result of the review has been changed from December 2007 to December 2008.

Summary of review and consultation process

 

The review was carried out by the ElectroTechnology Industry Training Organisation in conjunction with the Security Industry Training Advisory Group, which endorsed the unit standards.  The results of the review reflect the experience of several years training and assessing against the unit standards.

 

Main changes resulting from the review

 

·        Unit standards 6527 and 8618 replaced with unit standard 21739.

·        Unit standards 6532 and 17823 replaced with unit standards 21737 and 21738.

 

Unit standards categorised as category C expire at the end of December 2008.
