Forest Industries Training and Education Council (FITEC), on behalf of the Competitive Manufacturing Consortium in New Zealand, has revised the unit standards listed above, which were registered in September 2005.

Reason for the revision

 

The standards were revised to amend the wording of the special note describing the relationship between the Australian unit of competency and the corresponding unit standard registered on the New Zealand National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

The wording of special note 1 was amended.

This standard is registered on the Australian Qualifications Framework as competence MCMS200A Apply competitive manufacturing practices.  It has been registered on New Zealand's National Qualifications Framework (NQF) under the Trans-Tasman Closer Economic Relations provisions, and has been endorsed by the Competitive Manufacturing Advisory Group established by Forest Industries Training and Education Council (FITEC).
