Revision of NCEA qualifications

 

National Certificate of Educational Achievement (Level 2) [Ref: 0973]

National Certificate of Educational Achievement (Level 3) [Ref: 1039]

 

The Ministry of Education has updated the qualifications listed above that were registered in October 2002 and August 2003.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

·           The qualifications were re-issued as new versions on the National Qualifications Framework.

·           The purpose statements were amended to remove reference to the previous scholarship qualification.

·           The transition arrangements were removed from the NCEA (Level 2) as the transition period ended as of March 2005.

The review of these qualifications is planned to take place in 2006
