Seafood Industry Training Organisation registered assessors and industry raised issues that led to the unit standard being reviewed.  The re-drafted unit standard was presented to the relevant industry sector for consultation and the final versions were endorsed.

·        The title was changed to ensure the focus on safe operation was enhanced.

·        Other minor changes have been made to the special notes, elements and performance criteria to reflect changes in industry practices and legislation, and to enhance the safety focus of the unit standard.
