Revision of Multi-Field qualification

 

National Certificate in Employment Skills [Ref: 0231]

 

NZQA has revised the qualification listed above that was registered in November 1996.

 

Date new version published                        April 2006

 

The review of this qualification is planned to take place in 2009

 

Reason for the revision

 

It was intended to review this qualification in 2004-5, but in consultation with employers, it has been decided to conduct the review in conjunction with the planned review of unit standards in the Core Generic subfield, which is planned to begin in 2007.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

The maximum credit total has been amended from 69 credits to 68 credits to correct an error in the credit range for elective 1.  The qualification has been updated to meet current formatting requirements.  There are no changes to structure or content and therefore no transition issues.
