Revision and rollover of Work and Study Skills unit standards

NZQA National Qualifications Services has decided that the unit standards listed above, which were registered in November 2000, should have their period of registration extended.

 

The review of these unit standards is planned to take place during 2008-2009.

Reason for the revision and rollover

 

The reason for the rollover is to maintain the currency of the unit standards until they have been reviewed.  A comprehensive review of subfield Core Generic is planned to begin in 2007.

 

At the same time, these unit standards were revised:

·          To update legislation to take account of the Holidays Act 2003 and amendments to the Employment Relations Act 2000

·          To update the moderation option where necessary

·          To update the title of unit standard 1979 in unit standard 1978.
