The NZ Extractive Industries Training Organisation has completed the reinstatement of the unit standards listed above that were designated expiring in June 2005.

The above unit standards were reviewed and designated expiring in June 2005. However, various sectors of industry have advised they are still required for some occupations. The review team comprised providers and representatives from key industries who verified the decision by way of industry networks.
Main changes resulting from the review
The review process has resulted in the following changes.
· New versions of the standards have been issued
· Accreditation and moderation statements have been updated to match AMAP 0079
· Minor editorial changes for consistency with other standards reviewed in June 2005.
