Revision of Community Support and Support of the Older Person qualifications

 

·         National Certificate in Diversional Therapy (Level 4) [Ref: 0727]

·         National Certificate in Support of the Older Person (Level 3) with strands in Community, and Residential [Ref: 0729]

 

The Community Support Services Industry Training Organisation has revised the qualifications listed above that were registered in February 2000.

 

The revision was carried out to keep the qualifications current until a full review is undertaken of the unit standards and qualifications in the Support of the Older Person and Diversional Therapy domains.

 

Date new versions published                        January 2006

 

The review of these qualifications is planned to take place in 2006.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

The qualifications have been updated to reflect current formatting requirements.  Titles of reviewed unit standards 7926 and 6422 were also updated.
