The Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation (ESITO) has revised the unit standard listed above, which was registered in February 2004.

 

The review of this unit standard is planned to take place during 2007.

Reason for the revision

 

To remove Unit 14700, Apply and remove safety measures in an electricity supply environment as a prerequisite to Unit 14701, Manage electricity supply work control systems.  Being able to ‘manage’ does not necessitate having to be able to ‘apply’.

 

The revision also provided an opportunity to update references and special notes.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

·        Removal of unit standard 14700 as a prerequisite.

·        All references to ‘enterprise’ were updated to read ‘industry’.

·        Special Note 2 was updated.

·        SR-EI updated to SM-EI.
