Reason for the revision
The purpose of this revision is to update the entry information of the above standards. This has become necessary for two reasons:
· Unit standard 2824, Demonstrate knowledge of, and apply, safe working practices on an engineering worksite has been replaced with unit standards 21911, Demonstrate knowledge of safety on engineering worksites and 21912, Apply safe working practices on an engineering worksite.
· Some prerequisites are no longer appropriate in the light of a major review of the National Certificate in Maintenance and Diagnostics in Mechanical Engineering (Level 4) [Ref: 0125].
