The ElectroTechnology Industry Training Organisation (ETITO) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above that were registered in November 1999 and September 2002.

Summary of review and consultation process
This review was conducted by ETITO in conjunction with the Offender Management Advisory Group to ensure that the unit standards were fit for purpose. Feedback from training providers, workplace assessment, and moderation was incorporated, as were changes relating to industry terminology, standards, systems, and documentation.
Main changes resulting from the review
· Change of domain classification from Inmate Management to Prisoner Management to reflect the current industry terminology.
· Changes to unit standard titles to align with the classification change.
· Title change for unit standards 14620, 14638, and 17157 to clarify purpose.
· Unit standards 19306 and 19307 had title changes to accommodate the change of name of the Integrated Offender Management process to sentence planning and management process.
· Updated legislation references.
· Corrections to minor errors and amendments to elements and performance criteria to improve clarity and assessability.
· Unit standards 14621, 14625, and 14645-14647 were designated as expiring as they were no longer required by the industry.
Unit standards categorised as category D expire at the end of December 2010.

The domain name Inmate Management has been changed to Prisoner Management in the scope of AMAP 0003.
