Responsibility for the above unit standards has been transferred from NZQA – National Qualifications Services (NQS) to the Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation (ATTTO). NQS has completed a prioritisation and rationalisation exercise and identified that these unit standards are a better fit with the industry coverage of ATTTO.
The unit standards have been rolled over to maintain their currency until they are reviewed in 2007. Additionally, all the unit standards within the International Air Express domain will undergo a full review in 2007.

Main changes resulting from the revision
· The title of unit standard 13249 has been amended to better reflect the unit standard content.
· The purpose statement of unit standard 13247 has been amended to align with the elements.
