Summary of review and consultation process

Main changes resulting from the review
· Minimum evidence requirements specified in range statements have been clarified.
· The term ‘enterprise procedures’ has been changed to ‘company procedures’ in all relevant unit standards.
· A new performance criterion relating to safety has been added to unit standard 3789.
· A new prerequisite, and clarification of intended target group for the unit standard, have been added to unit standard 3792.
· Credits for unit standard 16617 have increased from 6 to 15.
· Unit standard 20526 has been referenced as a recommended alternative for unit standard 3796, which has been designated expiring.
· Unit standards 14538 and 14539 have been designated expiring and will not be replaced.
Unit standards categorised as category D expire at the end of December 2011.
