The NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) has completed the review of the standards listed above that were registered in September 1998.

Summary of review and consultation process
Standards 13242, 13242, 13263 and 132634 have never been used since they were registered. One provider has used standard 13233 and a different provider has used standards 13257 and 13258. In all cases there is no evidence of any interest in using any of these standards in the future. As a result of minimal usage and minimal intent for use, the seven standards were designated category D.
In consultation with the Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation (ATTTO), it was agreed that responsibility for the remaining four standards in the cargo and freight domain (standards 13232, 13247, 13248 and 13249) will be transferred to ATTTO.

All seven standards were designated category D, and will expire.
Unit standards categorised as category D expire at the end of December 2008.
