Revision of Agribusiness Management qualifications

· National Diploma in Agribusiness Management [Ref: 0647]
The Agriculture Industry Training Organisation has revised the qualifications listed above that were registered in August 1999 and August 2005.
Date new versions published May 2006
The review of these qualifications is planned to take place in 2011.
Reason for the revision
The exemptions table required updating.
Main changes resulting from the revision
Exemption for unit standard 21389 now includes either unit standard 11849 or 19036. Unit standard 19036 replaced unit standard 11849. Previously the exemptions table only stated unit standard 19036.

This change applies to both the National Certificate in Agribusiness Management (Agribusiness Resource Management) [Ref: 1187], and the National Diploma in Agribusiness Management [Ref: 0647].
Transition
There are no negative transition implications. It is recommended that candidates transfer to the new versions of the qualifications as soon as possible.
