The National Qualifications Services (NQS) of the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) has revised the unit standard listed above.

Reason for the revision
· To enable candidates to explore the differences between two different groups with more coherence and detail, the range has been limited to two different groups rather than three different religious groups.
· To make minor changes to clarify the outcomes required and to match the elements and purpose statement with the overall outcome. The unit standard requires candidates to describe denominations of major religions and not types of religious groups. This clarification has now been made and version 5 now replaces version 4.

· Minor changes to elements and performance criteria to match the main outcome.
· Range in element one amended to two different religious groups and not three.
