Summary of review and consultation process

 

This unit standard has been reviewed as part of the major review of the motor industry and outdoor fabric product qualifications (QReview) being conducted by NZ Motor Industry Training Organisation (MITO).  The QReview Steering Group endorsed the standard after consultation was carried out covering a wide range of stakeholders through focus group meetings and followed by industry wide consultation.

 

Main changes resulting from the review

 

·      The title has been amended.

·      A definition for company requirements has been added to the special notes.

·      The word ‘designation' has been corrected to ‘destination' in performance criterion 1.4.

·      Amendments have been made to the elements, performance criteria and ranges to clarify assessment context.
