Electricity Supply - Metering

19309-19322, 19472, 19655

The Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation has revised the unit standards listed above.  The opportunity was also taken to roll these unit standards over to extend their currency until a full review can be undertaken.

Date new versions published                        April 2007

Planned review date                        December 2012

Reason for the revision

Minor content amendments have been made to these unit standards in conjunction with an overall revision of the National Certificate in Electrical Supply Metering Technician qualifications.  Unit standards have been updated to more accurately reflect current industry terminology, and more broadly encompass evidence requirements.  In some unit standards Levels and credits have been increased to reflect a revised consideration of the skill and work required to achieve the unit standard.

Main changes resulting from the revision

·          Range statements updated.

·          Terminology updated.

·          Entry information changed to 'open' (19310, 19320).

·          Credit and/or level increased (19313, 19315, 19316, 19318).

·          Titles updated (19314, 19316, 19318, 19322).
