AMAP for NZQA Māori Qualifications Services [Ref: 0091]

Revision of NZQA Māori Qualifications Services - Whakaruruhau Te Mātauranga Māori me te Whakangungu AMAP 0091

The Māori Qualifications Services of NZQA has completed the revision of the Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan (AMAP) above.

Date new version published                        April 2007

The next AMAP review is planned to take place during 2011.

Reason for the revision

This AMAP has been revised as part of the Māori Qualifications Services review of the unit standards in the Mātauranga Māori me te Whakangungu subfield.  The standards currently have limited usage, and because of this there has been little feedback regarding this AMAP.  The opportunity was taken to include sector-specific requirements for accreditation (as on AMAPs 0106 and 0166) where there had been none previously.

Compliance with new requirements

Accreditation requirements will apply with effect from July 2007.

Accredited organisations will be audited for compliance with AMAP requirements from October 2007 onwards.

Main changes resulting from the revision
