Reason for the revision

 

The unit standard was revised following indications from industry that in order to comply with Civil Aviation Authority Rule Parts 121.575 and/or 125.563, the assessment could not be carried out in an operational cabin trainer, as there is a requirement for all flight attendants to undergo a flight check assessment during an actual flight.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

Special note 2 has been amended to remove the ability for the assessment to be carried out in a cabin trainer.
