Reason for the revision

 

Unit 18109, Demonstrate knowledge of law relevant to contracts in the road transport industry, covers knowledge of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.  The principles of the Act, included in performance criterion 2.1, related to 'goods' rather than 'services' and this error has now been corrected.

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

Performance criterion 2.1 has been corrected so that it relates to Part 4, Supply of services (s 28 to s 40) in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 not Part 1, Guarantees in respect of supply of goods, which is not relevant to road transport operations.
