AMAP for ElectroTechnology Industry Training Organisation [Ref: 0003]

Revision of ElectroTechnology Industry Training Organisation (ETITO) AMAP

ETITO has completed the revision of the Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan (AMAP) above.

Date new version published                                                             August 2007

The AMAP review is planned to take place during 2008.

Reason for the revision

The main reason for the revision of the ETITO AMAP was the result of the 2006 moderation analysis.  ETITO identified the opportunity to strengthen some components of the moderation process in order to enhance quality assurance across ETITO industry sectors.

Secondly, the opportunity was taken to clarify and simplify the AMAP document including the industry specific requirements outlined in the appendices.  The modifications did not change any of the content related to the industry specific requirements.  Therefore, ETITO did not need to consult the industry advisory groups.  Every attempt has been made to avoid barriers.

Compliance with new requirements

Accreditation requirements will apply with effect from October 2007

Moderation system requirements will apply with effect from October 2007.

Accredited organisations will be audited for compliance with AMAP requirements from January 2008 onwards.
