The National Qualifications Services (NQS) of NZQA has revised the unit standard listed above.

Reason for the revision

 

This revision has arisen from the recent review of unit standards in the Photography and Photographic Imaging subfields.  During that review the review panel made a recommendation to deregister Unit 9032, File personal photographic material.  It was suggested that the filing aspects of this standard could be included as an additional performance criterion within element two of Unit 9050, Demonstrate basic black and white photography procedures and processes.  Providers who had reported results for this standard were notified and asked to comment on this change.  Schools were contacted via the Assessment Matters circular (A2007/027).

 

Main changes resulting from the revision

 

Added performance criteria 2.4: 'Photographic material is filed for storage according to type'.
