Rollover and Revision of Ngā Mahi ā te Rēhia, Outdoor Recreation, and Snowsport unit standards

The Sport, Fitness, Recreation Industry Training Organisation Limited (Sfrito) has rolled over the unit standards listed above to maintain their currency until they are reviewed.  The unit standards have also been revised.

Reason for revision

 

Accreditation options for the standards in the Te Ao Tūroa domain were not aligned with revised AMAP 0102.  The accreditation options for these standards now state 'evaluation of documentation and visit by NZQA and industry'.

 

Wording, regulations, and format in the unit standards from the Outdoor Recreation and Snowsport subfields, particularly in the special notes, were not up-to-date or were not consistent.

Main changes include:

·          Updating legislation and references in the special notes

·          Updating accreditation options for standards 16075-16084 (all standards in Te Ao Tūroa domain) to match revised AMAP 0102

·          Editorial changes to entry information and special notes for clarity.
