Revision of Meat RetailingAMAP

 

The Retail Meat Industry Training Organisation (RMITO) has completed the revision of the Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan (AMAP) above.

 

Date new version published                        January 2007

 

The next AMAP review is planned to take place during 2011.

 

Reason for the revision

 

The RMITO has revised the AMAP to meet the registration criteria for AMAPs following a comprehensive review of Meat Retailing domain unit standards and qualifications in 2005.  The RMITO's Advisory Group made up of industry representatives involved in the retail meat trade was consulted in the revision of the AMAP.

 

Compliance with new requirements

 

Accredited organisations will be audited for compliance with AMAP requirements from February 2007 onwards.
