The New Zealand Horticulture Industry Training Organisation (NZHITO) has revised the qualifications listed above.
Date new versions published January 2007
The next qualification review is due to take place during 2010.
Reason for the revision
The qualifications were revised following a review of the unit standards in the Organic Horticulture domain, the subsequent expiry of this domain, and the reclassification of the unit standards into the Production Horticulture domain. This has resulted in the Organic Horticulture strands being removed from the qualifications. The review of unit standards in the Plant and Garden Retail domain resulted in the renaming of the domain to Garden Retail and the qualifications have been amended accordingly.
