Revision of Electronic Security qualification
National Certificate in Electronic Security (Installer) (Level 3) [Ref: 1102]
The ElectroTechnology Industry Training Organisation has revised the above qualification.
Date new version published July 2007
The next qualification review is planned to take place during 2009.
Reason for the revision
Version 2 of the qualification was issued to reflect changes in standard titles, credits, the subsequent change in the minimum credit requirements of this qualification, and transition from an earlier replaced qualification.
Main changes resulting from the revision
· Standards 15856 and 17805 titles changed
· Standard 1205 credit increased from 1 credit to 3 credits
· Qualification minimum credit total increased from 130 credits to 132 credits
· Reference to the last date of award of the replaced National Certificate in Electronic Security(Level 3) [Ref: 0414] was removed because it had passed.
