Reason for the revision
These unit standards have been revised to incorporate changes to regulations made under the Gambling Act 2003, specifically the Gambling Act (Class 4) Game Rules 2006. These new rules institute remote electronic monitoring of gaming machines. Some of the mandatory reports have changed name and some additional reports have been introduced. A new 'part 4' has been added to the Game Rules 2006.
Main changes resulting from the revision
· References to legislation have been updated.
· Title of unit standard 18174 has been updated to reflect the new report names.
· Purpose statement, special notes, elements, performance criteria and ranges have been updated to reflect the new report names.
