Summary of review and consultation process
The qualifications have been amended following a review of industry requirements for the Formed Shapes Letterpress/Dry Offset sector, which included a full review of unit standards as well as all components of the existing training programmes.
A meeting was held in July 2006 and involved PrintNZ Training members and industry representatives. As a result the qualifications have been altered to take account of the changes made to the unit standards and to align them with current business practices.
The review team considered that Dry Offset was a more appropriate description for the sector and the unit standards were reclassified and qualification titles have been changed accordingly.

National Certificate in Printing (Formed Shapes Letterpress/Dry Offset) (Level 3) [Ref: 0498]
